We are an economically independent family business in its fourth generation, still family-owned and managed, and still located at its founding site in Wuppertal-Cronenberg.

Since 1882 we have focused on the development and manufacture of high-quality pliers and related tools.

    Every pair of pliers passes through many departments on its journey from concept to packaging to becoming a quality tool. 

    At KNIPEX, we work in over 30 different departments to remain the global market leader.

    YOUR WAY TO KNIPEX

    1.  Privacy Policy

    In our privacy policy we inform you about how we process your data and how you can exercise your rights under the Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DSGVO). Please read this privacy policy carefully before applying to us.

    2. Online Application

    You can submit your application to us online. Therefore, a dedicated form is available where all required documents can be uploaded. These typically include a compelling resume and any work or training certificates you may have. Please also provide us with your salary expectations and information regarding your availability. 

    By the way: You are welcome to submit unsolicited applications via a specially created job posting as well. Once we receive your application, you will receive a confirmation email.

    3. Videointerview

    If your application has piqued our interest, we will invite you to an initial online meeting . During this conversation, we would like to get to know you and your professional background. At the same time, we will give you the opportunity to learn what makes KNIPEX a unique employer and what your responsibilities will be. Your conversation partners will be your future manager and a representative from the HR department.

    Questions are always welcome and encouraged during this round.

    4.  The Personal Meeting

    If mutual interest persists after the initial online meeting, we will usually arrange a personal meeting with you. Additionally, you may encounter the following tasks and insights:

    Work Sample: Through hands-on activities, you can quickly determine whether the tasks within the company are enjoyable while also getting to know the work environment.

    Company tour:  During our guided company tour, you can expect an engaging overview of key departments, hands-on insights into daily operations, and the chance to ask questions about processes and innovations. 

    During this meeting, you will typically meet not only your direct manager and the HR department but also your next-level supervisor.

    5. Our Offer

    Congratulations, you did it! If you were able to convince us during the second interview and we were able to win you over for KNIPEX, we will make you a contract offer. We are delighted if you accept it and look forward to welcoming you as a new colleague.

    6. Onboarding

    On your first day of work, you will receive all the essential information about your new employer and gain initial insights into various departments. Additionally, you will participate in a product training session about our pliers.
